(Yes, the places they are swimming and the waterslides will be your front yard!)
From Airport drive to Puerto Vallarta Centro (45 minutes aprox) Take highway 200 , Puerto Vallarta to Barra De Navidad , to Cabo Corrientes. (45 minutes aprox) On your way you will pass “Mismaloya” and “Boca de Tomatlan” (both small towns) About 5 minutes after passing Boca de Tomatlan, look for sign to “Chico’s Paradise” After you see that sign, go around a curve, across a bridge, and you will see a small town with entrances to the right and to the left. There are no signs to announce it..except advertisements for the canopy tour. (If you miss it you may go to el Tuito! This is way way too far!) Take the right and bear right down the hill. Drive to end of road where it becomes dirt. (About 1 mile) Till you reach Veranos canopy tour. Park on right side near electricity post as far over to the right as possible.
When you arrive
Ivan and/or Margarita will be waiting for you. If they are not there, please honk twice.
To get to the house you will need to walk through the restaurant and take a right to cross the small wooden bridge that goes above the river (los Horcones) take the path to the right and across the stones until you reach the purple house in front of the beach.
(My neighbors will meet you where you park at the canopy tour and guide you to the house the first time upon arrival! They will be there anytime you need help)
Please try to arrive before dark (around 7pm) Let me know your time of arrival so that I can arrange for someone to meet you when you arrive. If you must arrive after dark the first day, we can make it work…
